Dovolená mých rodičů v květnu v Estonsku / Holiday my parents in May in Estonia

Po 8 měsících pobytu v Estonsku jsem očekávala první návštěvu z České republiky, mé rodiče. Vyzvedla jsem je na letišti v Rize a zůstali jsme přes noc, abychom si město trošku užili. V Rize je úžasný trh, ve čtyřech propojených halách, kde nabízejí zeleninu, ovoce, ryby, sýry, chléb a další produkty. Přes léto je prodej rozšířen o venkovní plochu. Riga je bývalé hanzovní město a v centru najdete hodně secesních staveb. První den se počasí moc nevyvedlo, ale druhý den už na nás sluníčko vykouklo. Během „objevování“ města jsme našli také krásnou kavárnu a uzbeckou restauraci. V kavárně byly na stěnách staré keramické obklady ještě z doby, kdy to bylo řeznictví. Restaurace je malý rodinný podnik s dobrým jídlem, poklidný ostrůvek v centru města. 

After 8 months, I expect the first visit from the Czech Republic, my parents. I picked them up at the airport in Riga and we stayed overnight to enjoy the city a bit. n Riga is an amazing market in four interconnected halls you will find vegetables, fruits, fish, cheese, bread and other products. Over the summer, the sale includes also the outdoor area. Riga is a former Hanseatic city and in the center you will find a lot of art nouveau buildings. The first day the weather was not great, but the second day the sun peeked out at us. During exploring the city, we found also a lovely café and Uzbek restaurant. The café remained old ceramic wall from the days when it was a butcher. A restaurant was small, family business with great food, calm island in the center of the city.

Další dny jsme strávili v zamračeném Pärnu. Ukázala jsem rodičům má oblíbená místa. Zajeli jsme taky do Viljand a do bažin nedaleko Pärna. Naštěstí občas vysvitlo i sluníčko a bylo i 30 stupňů. Určitě bylo lepší počasí než v České republice, protože v té době tam byly záplavy. Navštívili jsme také mého tutora Uuda a jeho manželku Kaie u nich doma.

Other days we spent a cloudy Pärnu. I showed my parents my favorite places. We went also to Viljandi and the swamps near Pärnu. Fortunately, sometimes even sun shone and it was also 30 degrees. Definitely better the weather than  in the Czech Republic, because at that time there were floods. We also visited my tutor Uuda and his wife Kai  at their house.

Poslední dny jsme poznávali Tallin, ze kterého pak rodiče odlétali zpět domů. V průběhu pobytu v Tallinnu jsme si udělali trajektem výlet do Helsinek. Za 10 dnů jsme zvádli tři hlavní města a užívali si společný čas. Nevím, které město na mě zapůsobilo nejvíc. Všechny leží u moře, jsou plné turistů, stánků se suvenýry. Riga a Tallinn mají historické centrum oproti klasicistním Helsinkám. V Helsinách je zase nejvíce propojené centrum s přístavem. V Tallinnu jsme potkávali prodavače suvenýrů oblečené do středověkých kostýmů,  v Helsinkách je více dobře oblečených lidí, ale také je to „dražší“ město. Ale můžete tam najít jako my restauraci s příjemným prostředím, kde se velmi dobře najíte za dobrou cenu. Tallinn znám nejvíce, takže jsem mohla poznat i odlehlejší místa. V  každém městě jsem našla něco proč si to město budu pamatovat. Helsinki mají úžasný kostel zabudovaný ve skále, Riga krásně upravený park kolem kanálu a tržnici.

Last days we are getting to know Tallinn, from which the parents flew back home. During our stay in Tallinn we took a ferry trip to Helsinki. For 10 days we managed to see three capital cities and enjoyed the time together. I do not know which city impressed me the most. All lies by the sea, are full of tourists and souvenirs. Riga and Tallinn have historic center compared to classicism of Helsinki. But Helsinki is the most connected center and the port. In Tallinn we met shop assistant souvenir dressed in medieval costumes, Helsinki is more well-dressed people, but also it is more "expensive" city. But you can find there like we found restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere where you eat very well for a good price. Tallinn known to most, so I could know the more remote places. In every city I found something why is the city I remember. Helsinki have an amazing church built in the rock, Riga beautiful landscaped park along the canal and the market.

Tento víkend mě navštívila moje druhá navštěva z České republiky. Myslela jsem, že jich přijede víc, ale když máte čas, tak nemáte peníze a naopak :-(. 

Tohle byl poslední příspěvek z doby kdy jsem neměla moc čas na psaní blogu, teď už jen aktuální příspěvky.

This weekend I had my second visit to the Czech Republic. I thought that will come more my friends, but when you have the time, so you do not have money and vice versa :-(. This was the last post from the time when I did not have much time to write the blog, now only current posts.
